"I met Sue when, a few years ago, my grandson and then my six year old granddaughter had lessons with Sue. When she became busy with after school activities and couldn't fit piano in, it was then that I decided to take my granddaughter's place and started having lessons with Sue, in my home and subsequently via Skype when lockdown was announced. I was always keen to play the piano but never thought I would be able to grasp the music notes, as it looked too difficult. "Having had face to face lessons with Sue up until the start of the pandemic, our sons (11 and 8) have really enjoyed the switch to lessons by Zoom. The lessons have provided a much needed routine for them, especially whilst the schools have been closed, and as a result their piano skills have really improved and they are progressing at a great pace despite lockdown. Sue has a wonderful teaching manner with them; she is really encouraging and patient (especially with our youngest who can get frustrated with himself quite easily!) and she is quick to follow up after each lesson with personalised feedback and  practice homework for them.
